Mooring
Information
Border Island is one of the outlying islands that will reward
your efforts for going there. Reef protection buoys have been installed
to prevent further damage to the islands excellent fringing reef.
Do not anchor inshore of an imaginary straight line between the
reef protection buoys. Public moorings have been installed in the
bay and just west of the bay.
General Information
Border Island offers excellent snorkelling and shallow diving (upto
6m). It offers a rich diversity of very colourful corals. Different
species of fish from parrotfish to angelfish etc are found in this
area.
