Mooring Information
Lindeman Island has one anchorage point to the north. That
is were you will find Plantation bay. This is a lovely anchorage
with a delightful beach, affording excellent swimming in the right
tide conditions. The resort side of the island has 6 moorings for
use by visiting yachts.
General Information
Club Med Lindeman island is well known to many Australians who have
visited this international holiday group's villages throughout the
world. Their philosophy is to offer activities and entertainment
day and night, but its left to guests whether they want to join
the sports, pool games, concerts and late-night disco. Being a national
park, Lindeman has several excellent graded bush tracks, one which
meanders through forest and a valley of butterflies until it makes
the ascent up a grassy slorpe to the summit of Mt Oldfield, a spectacular
place from which to watch the sunset. A resident national parks
ranger is there to conduct nature walks and to interpret the islands
natural resources for guests
